I’m Jan Dawson, and I work as a telecom analyst at research and consulting firm Ovum. In that capacity I conduct research, write reports which are published on the Ovum Telecom Knowledge Center and work with clients to help them solve their business problems.
This is my personal blog, which focuses on the intersection between telecom and web 2.0, which is a key research area for me at the moment. Click here to see an introductory post on this topic. Although my main output on the topic is the reports and comments I write for Ovum’s clients, I intend to use this blog to share ideas and solicit feedback and input from clients and non-clients alike that will help shape and improve my published research.
